To celebrate the Shire Horses’ 50 years of loyal service to leading Lancashire brewer Daniel Thwaites, the brewery has created ‘Midas Touch’.
Inspired by Midas, the name of the latest Shire horse to join the stables at Daniel Thwaites, ‘Midas Touch’, is a golden ale with bagfuls of bitterness and hoppy flavours. As the newest edition to their Signature range of beers it is a platform for the brewery to showcase their brewing expertise by including Oats in a special blend of the brewing malt to create a truly delicious beer.
Lee Williams, Marketing Manager at Daniel Thwaites comments: “With the link to our beloved Shires, the brewers have had a great time crafting this milestone beer. I just hope Midas approves as he’s normally a fan of our Nutty Black and we certainly don’t want any long faces during this great celebration!”
