Leading Lancashire brewer Daniel Thwaites celebrated its new three-year title sponsorship with Lancashire County Cricket Club with an exclusive VIP tour of the Blackburn Brewery.
The day, which saw the Cricket Club’s players and backroom staff enjoy unprecedented access to the historic Penny Street Brewery, enabled the team to get an insight into the workings of the Brewery. During the tour they were able to try their hand at mixing and testing, tipping in the hops, as well as sampling the product. The team also got to meet the famous Daniel Thwaites Shire horses.
“It is a real pleasure to welcome the Club here,” said Peter Morris, MD Daniel Thwaites “As we enter into a new three year partnership with the Club, what better way for the players and their support team to see what we do and meet the staff who work here. We are a very proud Lancashire company and our relationship with the Cricket Club is core to what we do in the local area. I really think they enjoyed the day and I am looking forward to sharing in their success this season.”
